Bob,
I completely agree. There are many areas where I struggle but it comes down in the end to yielding myself to Him. Even if, in my tiny intellect, I think differently. It’s my experience that as I grow as a Christian I better understand the sovereignty of God and can trust him more fully with that which I don’t understand. That is not to say I have blindly followed some religious book, rather I have full confidence that the Bible is the word of God, therefore what else can I do but trust Him?

I think that is a lifelong challenge for us all. I have watched myself grow so much in the word over the last decade, but still I get challenged with scriptures that I would prefer not be in the bible. But, God is smarter than us, so we would be wise to just obey Him and trust that He knows what he is doing. Don't you think?
